My Kind of Cookies started as a project to make my perfect Chocolate Chip Cookie - soft on the inside with a slight crunch on the outside. I wanted a taller, fluffier cookie with just the right amount of chocolate.

With nothing but time during quarantine, I got started. After learning the science of each ingredient, a recipe was developed and a cookie was made. It was not perfect. Over and over again, I adjusted the recipe, baked and ate so many cookies. The final product is exactly what I wanted in my perfect chocolate chip cookie. I hope it is for you too!

I bake and operate my cottage food business out of my home in Chamblee, GA. Originally from Birmingham, AL, I have been surrounded by amazing bakers who taught me how to bake as a child. My day job is in finance-ish sitting behind a desk all day. I use baking as my creative outlet in my free time. I appreciate all the support as I bring this dream to life.
